Black Metal = Emo.
Forgive the poor quality (my scanner SUUUUCKS), but I drew this for a show happening tomorrow, Feb. 21, 2012 at the Metro Bar in Salt Lake City to benefit AFLA. Clearly, it is an anthropomorphic pig drawn in the style of the classic Circle Jerks “Skanking Guy” logo.
AFLA (Artists for Local Agriculture) is a Salt Lake-based organization created to promote reliance on locally grown and sourced food. It’s a pretty rad group of people doing rad things. You can check them out online at facebook.com/artistsforlocalagriculture.
Super Cool and Stuff #2 is out now! It features 16 comics, four of which are entirely exclusive to this zine, plus color covers! I have a handful of copies left for $2. Email rickyvigil@gmail.com if you wanna buy one, and check out some of my older stuff at rickyvigil.blogspot.com if you’re into that.
Now that I don’t have a car, it’s time to get serious about my bike gang. First step: Make a logo. Second step: Get a bike.
Not sure if that second step is gonna happen.

9 year anniversary today.
I remember getting into this band and being sooo stoked on them. When I started looking things up about them and found out 3/4 of them had died I was crushed. If you’re not familiar with this band do yourself a favor and look them up. I’ve never met anybody who didn’t like them.
One of the best bands ever. Period. RIP Exploding Hearts.
I drew a comic about the Exploding Hearts for IF YOU MAKE IT
